FS: Kaleinar-3B 150mm f/2.8 (Pentacon-6 w/ K-mount adapter)

The Kaleinar-3B is a monster of a lens, intended for the Pentacon-6 medium format system. It\'s difficult to handle, but can produce spectacular images with that elusive \"3-D\" look once you get the hang of it. I bought it on pentaxforums (actually traded my Jupiter-9 for it). Here\'s the original sale thread. As stated in the original sale thread, this thing is a tank. It weighs nearly two pounds, and the front element is about the size of the moon (82mm). The glass is perfectly clean, with minimal dust inside. Aperture blades are also clean, dry, snappy, etc. (but again, this is a pre-set lens, so it doesn\'t really matter).

Also included are a Pentacon-6 to K-mount adapter in \"user\" condition (it\'s worked flawlessly for me), the original leather case, and the colored filters that originally came with it. I believe adapters are available to make this work with Canon, Nikon, etc. bodies.

The only issue I\'ve detected with the lens is that the mount section, just behind the focusing ring, is a little wobbly. This could probably be fixed pretty easily by someone with the knowhow, and it doesn\'t affect images in any way. It\'s just slightly annoying when handling the lens on the camera. Also, I strongly recommend picking up an 82mm tele hood if you buy this, as the huge front element is susceptible to flare.

Asking: $170 by PP Gift

Included: Lens, case, filters, P-6 to K adapter, caps

Shipping: Free in USA by USPS or FedEx, whichever is cheaper

Pictures: Coming soon, but you can see the lens in the original sale thread linked above.
