I finally got a chance to take some test shots with my new-to-me 105/2.5. This is the late model Ai-S version.

The full frame pictures are post processed really quick. But the crops are made from unprocessed .raw files (imported to pspro 12, cropped, saved as jpeg). ** Don't pick on the composition - I was just shooting away**

Technical blah blah: DVDTech non-focus confirming adapter, EOS 5D, ISO 640+, except for the last shot that was ISO 100. Center point spot metered and focused.

My first question: is the bokeh acceptable or not? My 2nd question: how is the sharpness compared to the likes of Leica and CZ?

Which Leica or CZ lens?

Its amazing how poor the Hasselblad lens fares in that test!

I'd say the Nikkor does quite well. I suspect the performance of the Hasselblad lens is related to its much wider coverage.

The Nikon beat the others in virtually every test except for the quality of its OOF highlights...The Canon beat the rest in that respect.
Even at the small size the pics were posted at the Nikon clearly has the best bokeh.

Obviously I meant the Leica or CZ of the near same focal lengths.

Thanks for the link. I am impressed that my $140 Nikkor can beat the other lenses. I guess I should search for a better focusing screen now.
