You're so right about the 40 mph couch-potato comment. We have 2 brindle G-Hounds we adopted about 2 months ago and they love a few seconds of total flatout speed - to be followed by 6 hours of couch or dogbed time Ours are 8 and 3 years old - happy to give them a home now that their careers are over

Maybe she'll help to chase away the cat interlopers in this thread, though I'd fear more for the rabbit, guinea pig, etc. Perhaps if the pet rock spent some time in the sun, the two could be friends of an afternoon.
