Item updated in the last 24 hours Item price reduced in the last 24 hours   Zeiss 135mm f2 ZF.2 for Nikon

Item still Available

Price: $1,100.00
Payment method: PayPal
Item condition: 9+ Shows little or no signs of wear

I have a great shape Zeiss 135mm f2 ZF.2 I don't need due to deciding to just stick with my 105 f1.4E in this focal range. It shows minor signs of use but is really clean and the output is what makes Zeiss legendary!! It'll come with the box, all paperwork (including the Adorama purchase receipt), and a generic 77mm cap in case you prefer it over the Zeiss.

Payment net to me but I'll cover shipping.

I can't believe this one is still here. Lowest price I've seen on one of the best lenses I've ever owned. Great seller as we all know.

This lens will always hold its ground against any Art lens any day! Art's are sharp but that's about as far as they go. They will never compete with Zeiss on color/clarity and other aspects.

It's really easy and it doesn't take long to get some muscle memory to rarely look for the green dot for focus confirmation. I usually get more keepers with my MF lenses than I do my AF.

No doubt that some of it is the Sigma ART lineup but there are those who are also likely considering the Milvus version which, correct me if I'm wrong, has the same optical formula as the ZF.2 listed here, adds a rubber gasket for "weather sealing", and is $1100 more new than the asking price for this lens.

The 135 ZF.2 is right up there with Otus in quality; microcontrast, colors (especially skin tones), and lack of notable CA make this a compelling lens to consider. Also, if you get really "brave" and switch over to all manual focus it is just my opinion that, after a short while, you won't miss autofocus. There's just a different rhythm to using manual focus with a lens designed for the task and, yes, I realize it's not for everyone. But it might just be for you!

If you buy it for this price there's a good chance that, should you not enjoy using it, you would be able to get most if not all of your money back out of it by re-selling for minimal loss.

Anyway, good luck to all figuring out which lens is for them and GLWS T_Gordon!
