Bingo! Before I read this thread I figured that was Arundel Castle which I visited back in the 70s while cycling through the South Downs.

I pop in occasionally to see what's up in other forums and I must say that rugby shot is terrific dukenukem! I love the desaturated look you gave it.

This is a test stack of 25 High-Res 50 MB jpgs. E-M1 Mark II with Leicaflex Macro Elmarit-R 60/2.8 stopprd down to f/8. Weird mix of light, but as I say, this is a TEST.
;-)

Full sized here.

Variation on a theme... a stack of 21 single shots, raw and converted in LR.

Full sized
Depending on the subject, there does not seem ti be a HUGE difference between a stacking High-Res shots and single shot, either OOC or raw developed. So much detail is gained by stacking that you have to look really carefully to see much of a difference. But it is there and I would definitely use High-Res in a critical situation. Something like this does not merit High-Res as there isn't enough really fine detail.

A lot of really nice photos on this thread. How does the Olympus 75-300 perform with the E-M1 Mark II?

More fun with the Mark II

Full sized

More stacking. This time I set the camera to 8fps, silent shutter, and just held the button down (iPhone) while I turned the focus ring by the lever*. Works perfectly, much faster, and less chance of changes in the light or subject movement. 24 shots.
However, to do that properly one should have a shutter speed faster than the read speed of the sensor, i.e. 1/60 second. These are at 1/20, so there is no doubt a tiny bit of blur in each frame. i didn't do the same setup with single shots, so I can't compare. The absolute best would be High-Res single shots, but I wanted to try this way and see what happens.

Just a couple of pics using the E-M1 II and the Oly 12-40 Pro.

The first one is a trial of the low ISO setting (ISO 64) handheld, minus 1.7 EC to underexpose the sun and increase the shadow of the palm tree. Pleased that this image has no noise adjustment made and it is virtually noise free even after the -1.7EV.

The second image is again handheld ISO 320, 1/4 sec, f/3.2. I was shooting in in aperture priority and took a number of shots, adjusting the AV until I got a clean shot. This is a SOOC jpeg with no adjustments except for a small crop. Again no noise.

A little change of pace from the usual birds and wildlife photos.

89th Annual Arcadia Rodeo in Arcadia Florida. First chance to try out the E-M1 II/PanLeica 100-400 with some fast erratic action. Both Camera and lens did not disappoint. However, shooting for over 2 hours of continuous action, with low burst (18fps) creates a lot of images. I shot all LSF Jpegs and came home with over 3,700 images...........and most all of them were in focus. Still culling through them, but here are a few of the first cut.

Nice action
