Hi, Fred

I enjoyed these memories of the rainforest. I like the first for the variety of mosses and little plants on the russet trunk and the waving branch in front. The depth of field you have used draws the eye straight into the trunk. In the second, you have an interesting perspective of the tangled growth in a composition which brings order to the chaos of the forest.

Hi Fred,

Some nice views of the rainforest, I like the old and new contrasted in #1, and #2 has some nice lines with those ferns.

Hi, Martin:

Thanks for your comments! As you have recalled, the composition in the rainforest can be a challenge and I was trying to isolate interesting things out and glad to know that it works for you.

Thanks,
Fred

Hi, Jim:

Thanks. I have also used a flash light with some golden reflector in the first one to simulate the sunlight. As for #2, yes those ferns along with other native plants in rainforest attracts my eyes.

Thanks for viewing,
Fred

The first shot is a nice spot, I think it requires furthur simplification to really work for me though.
