p.1 #1 · Some Lillies for your viewing pleasure!

I made a new friend in New Durham, NH recently that has been growing lillies and cross-breeding them for years. He wants to use my images for use online and for himself. I am posting 8 of those images that I really like. Comments and critique are welcome as usual. Thanks for looking.

Love that 2nd shot the best. Great tonality, just the right amount of sharpness, complimentary background and a well formed petal formation. Well done!

# 2 & 6 are the ones which appeal to me the most.

I like # 2 & 3 best. I would suggest removing spent blooms before shooting though, (#4). If your friend is using them on a web site where he is going to sell them, the tight crops are what he will want. If he wants to hang some on the wall, maybe a little looser crop would be better.

Thanks for the tip on removing the spent blooms. I had not thought of that. I greatly appreciate everyone's comments. All lilies were shot with my 30D and 28-70L. I have never used the 28-70L for this type of application but it really worked out quite well.
