p.1 #1 · Shutter release problem on battery grip - D60
I got a used Canon D60 and battery grip from someone on this board back in 2005. Everything has been fine until yesterday when the shutter release that is on the battery grip would not fire the camera. I have power for everything and the release on the body of the camera works fine. I do not have any instruction sheet or manual for the grip but am wondering if there is something I could have done accidently to inactivate that shutter release?

Some of Canon's newer DSLR's allow you to set the customs functions so that the shutter will not fire without a CF card. Dunno if the older ones do the same. Check your custom functions.

Thank you for your interest but this is NOT a CF card problem!! If it was, the main shutter release would NOT WORK EITHER. The ONLY shutter release problem is with the one on the battery grip.
